Digital Yacht is head quartered in Bristol UK with a manufacturing facility in Poole, Dorset.  We have global offices in Newburyport (USA), Shanghai (China) and Auckland (New Zealand) to look after these regional markets and a network of distributors and dealers across the globe.

Digital Yacht was established in 2006, by Chief Executive Officer, Nick Heyes.  With over 25 years of extensive experience in marine electronics and an engineering degree, Nick decided to branch out into manufacturing his own products, and so the brand Digital Yacht was born. Between our senior personnel, we have 100's years combined experience. 

Right from the outset, Digital Yacht has taken a symbiotic approach to product design.  We like to develop products which make existing systems better or add functionality to legacy systems.  Our core products and expertise include AIS technology, marine pcs, navigation software, high power WiFi antennas and chart plotters.   Many  of our latest products are Apple and Smartphone friendly and we've started developing our own free Apps  which are available from the App store.  Digital Yacht is definitely a forward thinking company that is focused on incorporating use of all of the latest gadgets and technology into future products.

While the Bristol office in the UK remains the headquarters, research, development and manufacturing is the focus of the Poole office in Dorset, UK, which was set up in 2006. We have offices worldwide and in 2009 the Auckland office in New Zealand opened its doors.

With a vision to build innovative products that would benefit the modern yachtsman the next step was to form a team of software engineers and developers to concentrate on the next generation of products.  In the spring of 2010, with a team in place, the Shanghai office officially opened its doors. The main focus in China has been building upon our already established and highly regarded AIS technology in order to develop products such as BOATraNET and iAIS.

The latest move has been to launch the brand across the Atlantic and in the spring of 2011 Digital Yacht America was formed.   We also have exclusive distributors set up worldwide.  To find your nearest dealer go to our dealer section.

Our focus is on producing high quality products at an affordable price, offering first class technical support and helpful customer service.  We have a service area, so we can help fault find and repair and are also continually adding manuals, technical support notes,  troubleshooting advice,  software, brochures, product CDs, technical support videos and customer and dealer videos to our website.

We value your custom and pride ourselves in great post sales customer support.  Our customers return to us time after time because they know they're in safe hands and we will look after them, and their boat.

We have showrooms in both of our UK offices and in New Zealand and many of our dealers also have shops.  Customers are invited to drop in Monday - Friday during office hours (9am - 5pm) where a technical advisor will be happy to demonstrate any products of interest as well as advise on what is right for you and your budget.
